 On January 1, 2014, the Leon High School Marching Redcoats will be one of 12 high school marching bands representing the United States in the London New Year’s Day Parade. With a half-million live spectators, and more than 280 million viewers worldwide, this is the largest event of its kind. It is an amazing honor for the Leon High School Marching Redcoats to have been chosen, and now they need the help of the community to help make this trip happen! To make their participation a reality, however, the 150-member band has a substantial financial need of $450,000, which will be used for transportation, meals, and lodging for the band students. The Crepevine is doing our part, by offering a weekly "Leon 2 London" Share Day at our Midtown location. Come dine with us on Tuesdays and mention "Leon 2 London" and 20% of your purchase price will be donated towards the cost of their trip. We hope you'll join us tomorrow, all day long, for the first of many Leon 2 London Share Days to come!  Did you know that The Dance Marathon at FSU has raised $3.3 million for Shands Hospital for Children in Gainesville, Florida, their Children's Miracle Network Hospital, and the FSU College of Medicine's Pediatric Outreach Program since 1996? Some of the ways they fundraise throughout the year, in addition to their 40 hour long Dance Marathon (this year being held March 22-24), include online fundraising, and fundraisers through local Tallahassee vendors. The Crepevine is proud to be one of those vendors! This Wednesday, March 6, The Crepevine, in conjunction with DM @ FSU, will be hosting a Share Day at all 3 of our locations! 20% of all purchases made using the phrase "For the Kids" at checkout, will be donated to the Children's Miracle Network! Join us as we all work together to raise money for a great local cause!  The Crepevine is excited to welcome the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce to our Gaines Street location tomorrow at 11:30AM for their monthly "Chamber Mob"! The Chamber Mob was developed by the Chamber to provide a way for people to join together and support local business. "Not only are Chamber mobs helping local business achieve financial success, they are creating new customers, promoting commerce and uniting people of the community" says the Chamber. And The Crepevine agrees...we appreciate The Chamber choosing our restaurant, so we will be serving up an honorary "Chamber Crepe" tomorrow beginning at 11:30AM. We hope to see all of you there!
